Move 'N' Groove 4BGC

Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County is excited to host their annual Move 'N' Groove 4BGC (Previously known as MOVE4BGC and BIKE4BGC) and the Grand Opening of the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center on July 15 at 7 a.m. at McFee Farms Park, Fitchburg.

This event will be a fun, in-person experience! You can participate in a team or as an individual, and virtual participation will also be an option. There are SO MANY fun events to choose from whether you like to bike, run, walk or dance.  There is something for everyone!

The fun bike rides will include 50 Mile, 25 Mile and 8 Mile rides that will have a new route to make a stop at the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center so that you can be one of the first to see and tour the new skilled trades training center for youth, the largest in southwest Wisconsin.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch and beverages, including beer, are complimentary with the event.  Along with a great event tee and a post ride live music concert by Madison favorites V05.   There are many other fun activities for kids and the entire family.

This year, the Move 'N' Groove for Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County fundraising goal is to raise $700,000 to support their programs for different pathways to success, both career/college focused and skilled trades/entrepreneurship, for the youth in our community, ages 2.5 to 24.

We are here to help make Wisconsin one of the best places in the world to ride a bike, encouraging residents and visitors from every background to make cycling central to their Wisconsin experience.

Our mission is to cultivate, motivate and unite citizens as well as business and political leaders to move bicycling forward in Wisconsin through education, legislation and involvement. From recreational riders to racers, commuters and everyone in between, we advocate daily for all who ride.

Capital Off-Road Pathfinders (CORP)

Capital Off-Road Pathfinders is the Dane County chapter of IMBA, dedicated to building sustainable trails and promoting environmentally responsible off-road bicycling. CORP manages 12 trail systems, runs the Battle of CamRock race, hosts group rides, organizes social events and advocates for more off-road access. Stop by their booth or connect on the trails.


WORS

With a 25-year history, the Wisconsin Off Road Series is among the largest and most recognized mountain bike racing series worldwide, having staged over 270 cross country races. Events attract over 600 entrants plus spectators, offer high-value outdoor experiences for families, and now span entire weekends with pre-rides and social gatherings.


Wisconsin High School Cycling League

The Wisconsin High School Cycling League serves middle and high school students across the state, providing positive co-ed cycling experiences regardless of ability. Each season features summer clinics, a four-race series, wilderness first aid certification courses and a Spring Leaders' Summit for coach training.

The league emphasizes safe riding practices, skill development and appropriate race placement through middle and high school teams, ensuring students grow in confidence and competence.


Madtown BMX Bike Track

Madtown BMX in DeForest has served south-central Wisconsin riders since 2011 as part of the USA BMX network. Managed by a volunteer executive board with decades of BMX experience, the nonprofit relies on donations and sponsorships to maintain a safe, challenging track and expand racing opportunities for kids, families and businesses.


Bike MS: TOYOTA Best Dam Bike Tour

Bike MS is a weekend cycling experience fueled by camaraderie, determination and fun, traveling from Waukesha to Madison with an overnight stay in Whitewater. Multiple route options, including century loops, showcase Wisconsin's terrain with full support—meals, rest stops, mechanical help and lodging.

Participants receive a tour T-shirt, medal, completer bag and access to the Saturday celebration. Over 35 years, riders have raised more than $25 million to support research, programs and services for Wisconsin residents living with MS.


AIDS Ride Wisconsin

AIDS Ride Wisconsin is a fully supported cycling experience through southern Wisconsin that raises awareness of HIV/AIDS and funds services such as testing, prevention and medical care. With more than 6,300 Wisconsinites living with HIV/AIDS and additional undiagnosed individuals, riders ensure no one is turned away for inability to pay.

The ride welcomes all ability levels, promoting personal challenge, supportive community and vital fundraising. Over the past 17 years, participants have raised more than $2.5 million.


The Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour

The Scenic Shore 150 is a two-day, 150-mile July ride supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Up to 1,500 cyclists tackle 75 miles per day with fully stocked rest stops, meals, beverages and evening hospitality. Riders can camp in Manitowoc or stay in nearby hotels with shuttle service.

The experience features frequent rest stops, mid-day meals and celebratory gatherings each evening, delivering a premier supported ride along Wisconsin's shoreline.


Heart of Vilas County Paved Bike Trail System

The Heart of Vilas County Paved Bike Trail System offers more than 52 miles of paved trails connecting St. Germain, Sayner, Boulder Junction, Manitowish Waters and Mercer. The route winds through the Northern Highland American Legion Forest and along pristine lakes and rivers.

Riders enjoy scenic rest areas with picnic spots, restrooms, swimming locations, walking trails, campgrounds, motels and restaurants directly accessible from the trail. Smooth pavement, rolling terrain and scenic bridges make it suitable for all riders.


Vilas Area Walking & Biking Coalition

The Vilas Area Walking & Biking Coalition unites trail developers, ride organizers, public agencies and community leaders to publicize trails, enhance safety, promote multi-generational outreach, maximize economic benefits and advocate for planning that expands biking and walking opportunities.

Heart of Vilas County Paved Bike Trail System

One of the best ways to explore Vilas County is on two wheels, and the Heart of Vilsa County Paved Bike Trail System  offers riders more than 52 miles of paved trails that connect St. Germain, Sayner, Boulder Junction, Manitowish Waters, and Mercer. This spectacular trail winds through the Northern Highland American Legion Forest and along crystal clear lakes and rivers.

Along the trail are many scenic rest areas with picnic spots and restrooms. There are 20 different parking areas to choose where to start your ride. You will also find swimming spots for a quick cool down in the summer months and walking trails if you want a break from two wheels.

There are several campgrounds along the trail as well as many motels and resorts on or easily accessible to the trail. From the Heart of Vilas Bike Trail you can ride right up to a restaurant for a great meal or a quick snack.

The trail system features smooth pavement suitable for all types of riders -- from flat-to-rolling terrain, manageable hills, and multiple scenic bridges. Bring your sense of adventure!


Vilas Area Walking & Biking Coalition

The Vilas County area in Wisconsin's Northwoods offers a lot to bike riders and walkers, and it could offer even more. The Coalition aims to bring together those who have developed trails in all parts of the Vilas area, those who put on the 5 organized rides in the area, and those in agencies like the county Health Department, the area's schools, and county and town government who can help make this happen.

VAWBC has several core purposes: publicizing the existing biking and walking trails in the area, enhancing safety for bike riders and walkers everywhere in the area, promoting multi-generational outreach, maximizing the economic benefits of biking and walking for Vilas area businesses and community members, and advocating for county & community planning to promote more biking and walking opportunities.

Bike For Boys & Girls Club

Bike For Boys & Girls Club brings together family, friends, coworkers and neighbors to ride picturesque Dane County routes each summer morning to support the Boys & Girls Club mission. Routes of 8, 25 and 50 miles start and end at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg, culminating in an after-party with cold drinks and custard.

Riders of all ages and abilities can participate as individuals or teams, with official distances announced each spring.


Bike For Boys & Girls Club

The ride brings family, friends, coworkers and neighbors together to pedal through picturesque Dane Count\one summer morning every year. Pledges raised support the ongoing mission of Boys & Girls Club of Dane County to provide programs that inspire and enable our youth to realize their full potential.

Bike For Boys & Girls Club starts and finishes at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg. As you choose your route (8, 25, or 50 miles), please consider the time it will take to ride each distance. We'd love to see you at the after-party, and we want to make sure you're back in time to celebrate with us! Official rides and distances to be announced in the spring!

Hundreds of riders will pedal their way across the finish line and into the post-ride party of cold drinks and even colder custard. You can get involved as an individual rider or join a team. Cyclists of all ages and abilities can join in on one of three planned routes. See you there!


Tour De Cheese

Join us for a great event benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Green County. Riders will travel along a 15 or 50 mile Biking Enthusiast Supported Course through Green County Wisconsin. Rest stops at Cheese Factories Along the Routes including, Maple Leaf, Grande Cheese, Silver Lewis, Decatur Dairy.

Sample Artisan Cheese, refreshing drinks, tasty food, and take in the late summer weather. Enjoy live music as only Green County can offer as you return from your ride at the registration building lot! Music provided by the Junction Jammers.


Janesville Morning Rotary Pie Ride

On Saturday, June 15, the Janesville Morning Rotary Club hosts the 19th Annual Pie Ride, one of Wisconsin's most popular bicycle events. Proceeds fund scholarships and grants for Rock County students and vital programs.

Routes include a family-friendly 20K plus 50K, 100K and century options with safety personnel, water stations and restrooms. Participants receive pre- and post-ride refreshments, a long-sleeve T-shirt and, of course, a pie.

The Ride

The Ride is a community cycling event to raise money for cancer research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This one-day annual event features five routes—102-mile, 63-mile, 34-mile, 17-mile and 3-mile –to include any age and skill level. The Ride is an all-day event as riders start and finish from the same location and are welcomed back to an afternoon of food, drinks, Celebration of Life Program and a kids' expo featuring a balloon artist, face painting, crafts and a chance to shoot some pucks with the UW Men's Hockey team.

All routes feature rest stops with food, beverages, mechanical support and medical support to keep our riders safe as they pedal to raise funds for cancer research. In its fourth year, The Ride has the ability this year to cross the $1 million mark of funds raised for innovative cancer research and 100% of all funds raised stay right here in our community.

Every single dollar raised by our amazing riders goes directly to researchers and technology at UW with the goal of making UW the premier research and treatment facility in the nation. Join our more than 1,500 riders as they help write the story that ends cancer.


Tour de Cure

Many Roads. One Purpose.

Join the American Diabetes Association at the Madison Tour de Cure: it's more unified, inclusive and powerful than ever before, with ride, run and walk options for the whole family!  All riders, runners, and walkers will be treated to lunch and a fantastic celebration party for all to enjoy.

Ride. Run. Walk.

Tour de Cure is for people of all cycling abilities, featuring 5 well-marked cycling routes with safety marshals and safety vehicles, and fully stocked rest stops to fuel your journey! The 5K run and walk routes are a great way to get out, have fun, and celebrate those who are living with diabetes.

Tour de Cure is more than just a ride, walk or run– it is a celebration of the ADA's mission and a chance to raise critical funds to help fight diabetes. Every mile covered and every dollar raised brings us that much closer to a cure.

After registering you will have access to your Participant Center, which is your fundraising hub. You will have a personal page to share your story, mobile apps, email templates and more. Fundraising has never been easier.


Langlade Area Mountain Bike Association

Langlade Area Mountain Bike Association is a mountain bike club organized as a 501c3 nonprofit that maintains trails in Eastern Langlade County. Trails include The Nicolet Roche, 18 miles of technical single track which is rated one of the top 10 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin by MTB Project.

Other trails include the Wolf River Trail which is also technical single track and the Wolf River State Trail which is a gravel ride along the Upper Wolf River.


The Wolfman Triathlon

The Wolfman Triathlon is a unique offroad triathlon in and around the Wolf River in Eastern Langlade County. The three legs of the event are: Down River white water, canoe or kayak, Mountain biking on technical single track and trail running. It is a weekend outdoor festival with music, food trucks, raffles, an after race picnic/ pig roast, craft beer, camping on site and outdoor vendors. The events home base is the Gardner Dam Scout camp on the Wolf River. The Wolfman is a 501c3 nonprofit that donates proceeds of the event to 14 different clubs and nonprofits that help put on the event. This is the 25th year for this iconic event.


Wisconsin Women Cycling

Wisconsin Women Cycling is a Non-competitive Cycling Event Management business. Our focus is event creation, planning and management of non-competitive sporting activities for kids, women, and men, primarily set around cycling - growing the sport of women cycling in particular.

We are the creator of the Wisconsin Women Century, Bike4aCause (TM), and the Holy Hill Hundo. We also manage other rides and conduct clinics and classes to fit the needs our cycling community. See the complete list at www.WiWomenCycling.com

Our mission is to grow the sport of women cycling by helping girls and women set and achieve obtainable goals in an environment where one will not be judged. Through networking and outreach efforts, we strive to create safe, fun, social and educational activites meant to inspire girls and women to make healthy choices, on and off their bikes.


myTEAM TRIUMPH

myTEAM TRIUMPH is a human services nonprofit organization that assists individuals with disabilities to help them participate in athletic endurance events, such as runs, bike rides, and triathlons. myTEAM TRIUMPH serves athletes across the state of Wisconsin and participates in 65+ events annually.

This year, myTEAM TRIUMPH is hosting a 12 hour bike ride fundraiser called, 12 Hours of Road America. This ride is made for athletes of all abilities and skill levels. Participants can participate as a team or as an individuals working to complete as many laps as possible around the iconic Road America race track in Elkhart Lake, WI. The Road America track is a 4-mile loop composed of hills, tight turns, and fast straight aways, it will surely keep riders entertained.


Tour Da Goose

Join us for the Seventh Annual Jon Fisch Memorial Tour Da Goose Ride! All proceeds benefit the Watertown Area Cares Clinic, which provides free health care for the uninsured in Jefferson & Dodge Counties. This awesome ride offers supported distances of 100, 62, 42, 22 and 12 miles through the picturesque countryside of Jefferson and Dodge Counties. The Registration Fee is $60/rider with pre-registration or $65/rider Day-of-ride.

ALL RIDES BEGIN & END at RIVERSIDE PARK. Each distance has multiple rest stops as well as a sweeper vehicle to ensure no cyclist gets left on the road.

There will also be a really wonderful and refreshing lunch that includes Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Vegetarian Wraps, as well as a great beer selection available from the NEW Hubbleton Brewery. The Food Fun & Fellowship continues after the ride with LIVE MUSIC from Noon – 3pm! Don't miss it! Although the Tour Da Goose is a ride (not a race!), it is part of the March 2 November Race Series, and series participants are rewarded with points allotted to the distance they ride.


Tour De Fort

Annual ride held in conjunction with a Chicken and Corn Feed, to support the Fort Atkinson Lion's Club.

The ride has a mass start at 8:30 am for all bikers from Jones Park, located at the corner of Janesville Avenue, Park Street and Sixth Street. There are three routes, a Metric Century (63 miles), Half-Metric Century (36 miles), and a Quarter-Metric Century (18 miles). All are on paved, scenic and enjoyable roads. There are breakfast treats before the start of the ride and rest stops with refreshments and food along all of the routes.

Sag support is provided for all of the routes. All the routes are very well marked and there are maps that are also available. At the finish of the ride a ticket to the Chicken and Corn Feed is included so that you can relax with friends and enjoy a great meal.


Annual Apple Blossom Tour

Enjoy the surprises folded in the majestic Mississippi River Valley and Historic Bluff Country.  Glimpse what the first westbound settlers must have encountered as you wind along the Mississippi River, once designated as the western edge of the United States.

Join us for one of the following rides of the Seventh Annual Apple Blossom Tour.

The 31 mile, 54 mile and 61 mile tours will have you bicycling along the bluff top overlooking the Mississippi River.  The challenging rolling hills and curving valleys are some of the best bicycling in the state.

If you are looking for a challenge, we have added a Century Ride to the ABBT.  The 101 Mile tour will give you everything: A beautiful view along the Mississippi River, Four Climbs through the Bluffs, Winding roads along the Root River, and a cooldown return through scenic roads. This year all rides will start and end at Abnet Field, near the La Crescent Community Ice Arena.

If the challenging bluffs are not for you, the 16 mile ride north of La Crescent will be more to your liking.  Also starting at Abnet Field, this route heads north out of town toward Dakota, MN. This course is relatively flat and takes bikers along the Mississippi River.


Bike Wisconsin

Bike Wisconsin is Wisconsin's Bicycle Touring Company! We run four fully supported bicycle tours in Wisconsin:

- GRABAAWR, the "GReat Annual Bicycling Adventure Along the Wisconsin River" is an annual 7-day, 500 mile ride from Eagle River to Prairie du Chien that follows the length of the Wisconsin River.

- The Bike Northwoods Tour is an annual 6-day ride in and around Wisconsin's rustic Northwoods. Enjoy cycling between 150 to 300 miles on serene, lightly traveled roads surrounded by nature's beauty. ·

-SAGBRAW, the "Spectacular Annual Great Bike Ride Around Wisconsin" is an annual 6-day cycling tradition. Enjoy riding between 150 to 300 miles in and around central and southern Wisconsin.

- Will to Ben is Bike Wisconsin's newest week long tour, travelling through the beautiful and challenging Driftless Region from the Will B. Rolling statue in Port Byron, IL to the Ben Bikin' statue in Sparta, WI.

Bike Wisconsin is also owned by the same company as Bicycle Illinois, Illinois' Bicycle Touring Company. Bicycle Illinois runs several bicycle events in Illinois as well as transportation services for the RAGBRAI bicycle ride across Iowa.

Capital Brewery Bike Club

Capital Brewery Bike Club was founded in 2009 and meet in the Beer Garden every Tuesday, Wednesday*, and Thursday evenings at 5:00 pm from May to September (weather permitting). We have three ride levels with guided routes that average 12 to 32 miles ranging from paved trails to road rides. Members receive cue sheets and are invited to clinics, potlucks, cookouts and more. Jingle in July

The Jingle in July Run, Walk or Ride is a family-friendly fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation of Wisconsin that offers a 50k Ride, 5K Timed Run, 5K Fun Run/Walk or 1-Mile Walk—something for everyone of all skill level and all ages! The Friends of Badger and Sugar River State Trails

The Friends of Badger and Sugar River State Trails is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that works in concert with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to enhance usage and the physical aspects of the trail, as well as educating trail users on the ecology and history of the trails.

We engage in a wide variety of activities ranging from fundraising for the trails and organizing trail rides to construction of physical facilities such as trailhead shelters and informational kiosks along the trails. We also work with communities to protect, promote and maintain the health and safety of the trails and its users. The 40-mile Badger Trail runs from Madison to the Illinois border, where it connects to the Jane Addams Trail; the 23-mile Sugar River Trail runs from New Glarus to Brodhead, Wisconsin.

Pedal the Peace Rides

Pedal the Peace Rides is open to riders of all abilities. Cyclists choose from three different routes: an 11-mile route on the flat, paved Peace Trail, or 25- or 50-mile road routes which include 11 miles of paved multiuse trail.

On July 26, 2025 the ride starts and ends in the charming village of Afton, Wisconsin in the heart of Rock County, the southern gateway to the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Registration includes great rest stops, mechanical and SAG support, lunch, ice cream, and a t-shirt. Proceeds benefit the Rock Trail Coalition supporting the enhancement of trails in the county.

Active Youth Wisconsin

Active Youth Wisconsin (formerly Tri 4 Schools) is a Dane County nonprofit committed to providing accessible opportunities for kids to be active in a generation when they move less than ever. Our initiatives foster inclusivity, promote self-confidence, work ethic and positive peer interactions so that all children, regardless of background, can benefit from the physical and mental health advantages that regular activity provides. Bike Fitchburg

Bike Fitchburg's mission is to help make all forms of bicycling easier, safer,and fun. Our mission is to keep connectivity alive between neighborhoods and other areas. As the local bicycle education group for Fitchburg, Wisconsin, Bike Fitchburg works with the mayor, council, and city staff to make biking of all kinds and walking easier, safer, and more fun. It also educates people who bike and the general public on bicycle matters and serves as an information clearinghouse. There are several events that Bike Fitchburg hosts and/or supports throughout the Fitchburg, Madison and southern WI area.

Bike Fitchburg is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization governed by a board of directors.

Everyone who lives, works, or rides a bike in Fitchburg is invited to add their voices to ours by visiting our website, liking our Facebook page. and joining our Facebook group.

Bike Fitchburg is always seeking motivated leaders to serve on the Board, Advisory Board, and/or help in other ways. We are looking for cycling enthusiasts who have leadership/Board experience, knowledge of governance, bylaws, sporting and other events, and nonprofit operations. This type of experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
